VR in Midjourney

As an experiment to work with an actual photograph in Midjourney, I imported my standard head shot. This the first image in the slide show. I then instructed MJ to modify that image in a surrealist style, which after a few permutations resulted in the second image. It is a fairly accurate depiction of me some years ago, when the head shot photo was taken, but in a surrealist setting. So far, so good, but then things got interesting!

I ran a second set of permutations on the original, which to my surprise transformed me into a rather striking female. This was most unexpected and serves as a good example of the inherent unpredictability of the image generation process. Of course my whole MO revolves around mining this unpredictability, so I am happy with the results.

Lastly, I ran some more operations on the second image, which resulted in one I rather like, sitting in a cybernetic wonderland. This a good portrait of me now, in my native AI environment.
